The apartments come equipped with a bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom. If you’re not staying in a single-person apartment, you will need to share the bathroom and kitchen with a housemate. You will need to bring a pillow, sheets, towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, detergent, toilet paper and other personal care and hygiene products with you.

You can move as early as a week before the autumn academic semester begins.

Yes. Ankadorm’s rules are not to restrict your lifestyle, they are there to make sure you feel relaxed and safe.

No. The closed camera system is just there in communal spaces to ensure your safety.

The halls are monitored 24/7 with security cameras. The camera system encapsulates the building surroundings and all communal areas. For the comfort and security of our students, expert security guards are on call 24/7 to control the entrance and exits to the buildings.

All of our emergency and fire evacuation proceedings have been subject to the approval of Düzce Fire Directorate.

The elevators inside the building are approved every year by the chamber of machinery and engineering.

Smoking is not permitted in any closed spaces in Ankadorm, and the use of alcohol is forbidden in all spaces – inside or open-air – on Ankadorm premises. Students who smoke may choose accommodation with a balcony.

Ankadorm is a friendly place. If you register your friend and hang out with them in communal areas between 09.00 and 23.00.

While we too love animals, unfortunately pets are not allowed at Ankadorm.

Of course you can. That’s what Ankadorm’s storage room is for.

Breakfast and dinner are served at the restaurant and café. Additionally, you can prepare any meal you want in your own kitchen.

All rooms and communal spaces are cleaned on a regular basis by our cleaning crew, free of charge.

Between 08.00 – 22.30 there’s a free ring service. It’s a 3 minute journey on the service, and a 20-25 walk.

This all depends on what kind of accommodation you choose. If you’re in a 2, 3, or 4 person apartment, you can choose whoever you’d like to live with, provided that they are also Düzce University students. Or you can leave the choice to us. We will be making selections based on your Ankadorm expectations survey that you will have provided during registration.

You can switch to a different house once you’ve moved in depending on the availability and space.

Depending on availability, you can make a reservation at the guest lodging quarters in advance.
